Huttonville The Village that is quickly changing. The Country Village which is fast becoming the unique village in the city.  Nestled close to the Credit River, stones throw to 401 407.  Although residential development is encroaching on the area, substantial amounts of greenery remain.

The settlement was established in 1820, it was named after J.P. Hutton, the oldest son of Alex Hutton and a prominent figure in the development of the region in pioneer days.  Today the local Councillor John Hutton a descendant from the earlier Settlers.

Within the Settlement area there is a Large Chicken Business Maple Lodge Farms and small business and a few remaining farmers supplying  the surrounding areas with Apples, Strawberries and seasonal farm produce.  There remains an  active Lions club and Church.
